Aesthetic board for Shiari Nieyette(No last name). My Native African assassin. She is the daughter of the chief of a planet that still has no name. But have decided that it is a African themed planet (which means all Africans).

I haven't a clear idea as to why she came to Pandora, originally it was because bandits found their way to her home and started stealing her planet's resources but like....why do that? Instead I made the reason(or part of the reason) is she wants to explore the galaxy.

Everyone has heard of Pandora, doesn't matter what galaxy you're in, you've heard about Pandora rather you remember is not. So Shiari goes just to see how bad it actually is....she thinks its really bad. But also fun.

Now because some shit is always happening, the Crimson Raiders are recruiting again and Shiari joins.

So before I said that Shiari was an assassin with an ability called Under God's Eye were she would turn invisible. Well that's being changed, she's a huntress now whose main Action Skill is called Call of the Ancestors.

Y'all know how Native Americans and Africans are in touch with animals and what not? So instead of having pets like Fl4k she'll have spirit guides. One eagle-like one, one cheetahs-like one, and one elephant-like one.

The elephant: Symbol of strength, royalty, dignity, patience, wisdom, longevity, and happiness.

The cheetah: Speed, flexibility and adaptability, intelligence and creativity.

The eagle: Vision, foresight, leadership, and courage.

Each animal provide a different attributes to Shiari. The eagle provides improvements to her weapon handling and accuracy. The cheetah provide movement speed boost both in and out of FFYL move and reload speed boost. The elephant increase weapon, melee and grenade damage.

Unlike Fl4k whose pets are always visible, Shiari's spirit guides are only seen by her ( that makes sense right?) but can stick around.

And I decided to keep the ability where she can shoot through objects for a certain amount of time.

The new ideas I have for her are exciting and I'll be posting more about her and my other OCs.

A swift strike to the neck, a slice across the back. Movements so fast and smooth you’d think you’re watching a professional animation. Shiari moves like a dancer whose been in the profession all her life.

She’s a skilled huntress whose been at this all her life, quiet as a mouse, fast as a cheetah, and deadly like a shark. She ain’t the one to fuck with.

“Thank you for your sacrifice.” She whispers to an alpha skag as she plunges her father’s dagger into its neck.  

She spends a few hours cleaning and carving the skags she killed and cooking them, never let good food go to waste, something her parents taught her when she was young. The light of day is fading, so she sets up camp and plants a few mints, garlic, and lemon balm herbs to ward off bugs and animals from approaching. She isn’t sure if it will work on the creatures of Pandora, but it’s worth a shot anyway.

The night is cold, nothing Shiari isn’t used to though. She pills her shawl tighter and gazes up at Elpis, examining the cracked surface made Hyperion’s laser canon. She scoffs, stupid corporate scums, first Dahl, then them. When will the suffering end?

She sighs, it was because of a corporation that she lost her father, Dahl attacked her home planet for its rich recourses. Her people fought with determination and purpose. But her father, he gave his live to protect her and her mother. Shiari will never forget that day, the day a little girl became a woman.

Shiari is a thirty-four-year-old Native African from the planet of Nyumbani. A planet of much like Wakanda. Shiarai is the daughter of the planet’s chiefs Hamidi her father and Neputa her mother. Shiari lost her father when she was a child, Dhal attacked her home planet for their resources. They never returned, but Hamidi lost his life. 

Since then she’s dedicated herself to protecting her planet and helping her mother any way she could. But deep down inside she craves to go and explore other planets, her ancestors have never been afraid to traverse the galaxy. But she doesn’t want to leave her mother alone in case something happens. However Chief Neputa encourages Shiari to go out and find herself, once she did, she would be ready to take the throne. 

Unlike almost every woman in Borderlands Shiari is thicc but to most, surprisingly flexible and fast. She’s been hunting her entire life and is a master of camouflage. Skilled with snipers and pistols Shiari is force of nature. 

Has lovely ember eyes and wine-red braided hair. She keeps a traditional dagger from her father on her at all times, outfit is kinda based off Senna’s True Damage outfit from League of Legends. (Could care less about the game though but they got great music videos.) 

Big obvious lesbian crush on Amara (but who doesn’t), flirts with her but thinks she and Moze have something going on. But who says there can’t be a three-way relationship action? 

Meditates like the sirens and has a strong connection to the spirit world, and is the only one who can see her spirit guides.  

Knows Rhys and Vaughn from back when they were hunting the Vault of the Traveler. Ran into them in a small town once while getting supplies.
