She was there She was there. She was there only for but a mere moment. For a mere moment. Trying to do her best to forget. Surely it was out of character. Out of character but she no other way. She was there. She was there only for but a mere moment. Trying her best to forget. To forget him. His scent. The way he touched and kissed her. The way he put her up on a pedestal as his queen. Then dismantled it all within a few moments. Within a few moments of dipping into another. Dipping into another portal then telling her. Telling her she wasn't enough. She could never be enough. He was never what she wanted. She an enigma to him as he was to her. She was there. She was there only but a mere moment. Trying her best to forget. To forget him. Moving on with another. Hoping that a new body accompanied with a different set of hands and a scent could make her forget. Could make her forget and wash it all away. Wash all the memories, the tears cried on her pillow and the feelings of unworthiness away. Wash it all away. Yet the new body just reminded her of the previous one even more. Using something new to cover up the old. Cover up the old like painting over a fresh wound that has yet to heal fully. Bringing her to the realization that this is not the way. There must be some other solution. Another way to forget and move on. Slowly but surely the process gets easier. The closure is found and self awareness comes into fruition. She was there. She was there only for but a mere moment. Trying to do her best to forget.
