I am grateful to have received the Lifetime Presidential Service Volunteer Award from President @barackobama. 4,000+ hours later, I have shared my story with various audiences countless times... activism to me is not only sharing, but sharing with confidence, clarity of your why and a clean set of teeth... yep, teeth. 😁 Victims and survivors need to see you smile... they need to see what life can look like when they heal, when they accept they cannot change their past but they control their future.
