I do not meant to sound like a prick, but its been a while since they unfollowed eachother and seeing ship content just feels weird and it does seem like being a coward hiding behind anonymous but I do not want to receive harassment just because what I have been observing
While I understand where you're coming from, I do not entirely agree.
Shelby and Avid's characters from VSMP are just that: characters. They're not real people. While there are many aspects of the real person within the character, they are still separate from each other and should be treated as such. Just like movie or TV show actors and the roles that they play.
When we as a fanbase participate in shipping, we are (or at least should be) shipping the characters, not the real people behind them.
We are currently in a weird nebulous stage where we have some information but not all of it. Until we get more info, we have to remember that these people are grown adults with lives beyond what we see on our screens. They talk things out in real life behind the scenes where we don't have access, and that is exactly how it should be. Like I said in your previous ask, whatever happened between them that caused them to unfollow each other is none of our business unless they choose to share it with us. If it is a real issue that we need to know about, or becomes one in the future, they will address it publicly when they are ready. Until that happens, all we can do is look at the information we do have availabe to us and decide from that how we wish to move forward, and that decision will look different for everyone.
I'm choosing to continue shipping their characters until someone involved (as in the creators, not fans) talks about it publicly. If you personally feel uncomfortable with that, then you can block the tags and/or block me, and move on. I fully respect that. /nm
