I gathered a week's worth of mental energy to write a lovely post and tumblr just shoved it up its ass. π«©
omg I can't believe I reached 1000 posts of silly/slutty jokes and shit talking! π₯³
It's been a pleasure, this blog really became an outlet for my sense of humor. Thank y'all for engaging with me, I hope you're having fun!!

I'll be answering 12th and 13th questions in this one
12: show us your favorite piece of Djo merchandise
Soooooo... I don't own any official merchandise and I got kinda shy about answering this yesterday. π¬ But I was reading people's answers and so many of you also don't own things or just own unofficial merch!!
This is my desk. I had The Crux one for a while and when the deluxe came out I got the second one printed too and I was so excited about it, it even has a typo I only noticed after it arrived. Buuuuut I love them nonetheless. they sit right above my computer.
As for official it'd be those fuckers:
I love it when merch is designed like sports jerseys! And this beanie. The pompom!
13: show us your favorite piece of Djoling merchandise
I really want this! I love cars, despite the fact that I don't even drive, and I definitely love miniatures! Steve's beemer is so iconic, rest in peace my angel, you served your duty! ππΌ

5. What's your favorite upbeat Djo song?
That's a tough one! Besides gap tooth I think I'll go with Mr. Mountebank, Flash Mountain or Link. Or maybe Purgatory Silverstar. (As a meme I saw once: choose one?? I'm bisexual and bilingual, I can't choose!!)
Ok, I'll stay with Mr. Mountebank for obvious reasons. This song pumps me up so much, it's upbeat in that angry way that just feels cathartic sometimes. The melody and the lyrics are so in your face, I just love it. Gets me everytime.
And what can I say? When Djo said "washed out glory hole, piss pot feeling like a jelly roll"... I felt that.

1. tell us about your first djoling
okay, I can't give any answer other than Steve Harrington, even if it's clichΓ©. Damn, I remember watching s1 of Stranger Things and going from "this dude makes me think of James Spader in Pretty in Pink and I don't fucking like him." to "oh. Oh."
20 year old me was not impressed by him at first (tho she noticed he's fine asf. what can I say? I like a man that has a whole ass station wagon situation going on his back) But oh, I grew to like him so much. Dustin was my fav of the kids, so when Steve was paired up with him, it was the final nail on my coffin. Consider me sold and in love.
Steve is, in every way, a sweetheart. I love characters who grow and change but keep their personality solid. He never stopped being petty and ironic and I love that. His arc was played beautifully by Joe.
(me when it's monday and I have to work again)
BUT I'll give Kurt Kunkle an honorable mention. His writing is so fascinating. He gave me secondhand embarrassment when I first saw Spree, he made me think a whole lot. I have a big interest in true crime, so I read extensively about all sorts of killers and I'm 200% sure that if Kurt was real he would have a hell of a cult following. Like, massive. He's written and played in a way that feels really true (and really close to some real cases I know). It's really cool when a character gets you to go "oooh if he was real he'd be linked to x and y" while also enjoying the fictional universe they're in. Plus he's fucking funny.
(me ready to make some friends with my bro Curt)

walked in front of the mirror and realized my outfit is giving
The Crux is one year old and maybe, just maybe, so am I.
Last year, back when my main blog was still an abandoned roleplaying blog with like 20 followers and my English was rusty as fuck for the lack of usage, I posted this thing. Now I'm a hundred-ish followers blog with a hundred-ish followers Joe Keery sideblog, The Crux is one year old (yay!), life has happened and changed, Djo is bigger as a musician, etc etc. you, fellow fan, know the drill. But I'd like to say one thing to that 29 year old bitch (me):
We dropped everything to go back to studying sound and right now we kinda suck at it and we have money for shit and we have zero equipment and being a beginner is a fucking nightmare sometimesβ but none of it is a "faint memory of our glorious early 20s" anymore. We're doing it right now. We're trying.
Keep listening to music that makes you feel alive, surrounding yourself with people and influences that inspire you, put your baggage inside glittery suitcases and go ahead. You're not gonna let fear take that.
Also keep telling jokes and being a slut on the internet. (it'll give you great friends)
