The technical and safety inspection consist of: 1. Vehicle Weigh-in : Checking the vehicle meets official weight limits 2. Driver Weigh-in : Checking the driver meets the specified weight limits 3. Vehicle Dimensions : Ensuring vehicle dimensions fall within official limits 4. Seat Belt : Testing the driver's seat belt strength 5. Turning Circle :Checking the turning radius of the vehicle 6. Visibility : Measuring the driver's field of vision to the front and side 7. Time to Exit : Checking the driver can get out of the vehicle in less than 10 seconds 8. Brake Test : Testing the effectiveness of front and rear brakes 9. Vehicle Design : Assessing the interior and exterior from a safety point of view 10. Battery Power Systems : Inspecting electric battery systems Transponder : Fitting the vehicle with an electromagnetic transponder • We will be doing our first attempt this afternoon at 3pm.
