Shell Ginger violating all the rules. Couldn't get close enough to cast shade, so I had to take it while brightly illuminated by the sun. It's a large flower, and I'm not sure I wanted to touch it, it was very gleamy glisteny.

This is a fast growing plant that loves bright indirect light. Location is super important for plants, I had her getting a bit too much light underneath the deck and leaves were getting burnt a bit and she didn't look too happy. As soon as I moved her on the other side with more shade, omg so many new big and variegated leaves have come out. 💚
