Okay, so Sylvan. He’s from Lorule, but ends up going to a land called Methorion, where his first encounter is with someone that looks like a Great Fairy. The thing is, the rules for fairies are different in this land, and a curse gets put upon him just after he introduces himself. This curse turns him into a fairy - with all the abilities, weaknesses, and rules that that entails - and he is unable to change back without the help of the Queens of both the Summer and Winter courts.

Some of his abilities/weaknesses include:

Fairy magic (His weapon progression goes from the Fairy’s Wand, the Great Fairy’s Wand, to the Fairy Queens’ Wand, and he has magic armor akin to Wind’s)

Weakness to iron (It burns him if he touches it)

He can’t lie. (He can talk around the truth, but he can’t tell direct lies, so he often just goes for brutal honesty)
