Today while picking up the tank top for the evening run I came across the LSU t-shirt and realized it's been a year since my departure to the United States or the beginning of my 10-month journey into the world of the unknown culture. I remember it as if it was today, saying bye to my Mom, a flight to DC that I spent thinking about what the heck was wrong with me and why I was leaving everything behind - the scare that I wouldn't be able to fit in and just other worries of a 16-year-old leaving her home country and the most beloved ones in another continent. It was hard, but I would never ever trade this experience for anything else in the world. It was not a year of life, but a life in one year. I met so many wonderful people in LA, got myself an amazing and loving American parents who helped me become who I am right now... I am ineffably grateful to everybody who was with me during 2013-2014 and I miss y'all Americans bunches! Also, SHS students who still follow me on ig, there will be one more cute Russian in Southwood this year - please be friendly and nice to her :) and keep in mind, Russians are awesome to hang out with๐๐ #SheIsBlond #TeamRussia #GeauxTigers #LSU #INeverWatchFootball #DontEvenKnowTheRules #CheyenneJustMadeMeBuyLSUtanktop (ะฒ ะ ะพััะธั / Russia)
