As the country marches for the civil rights of Black people, I wanted to highlight the struggles that Black Individuals with disabilities currently face in society, especially in the education system and workplace. With this video, I hope to contribute to the voices calling for the protection of Black lives, with a focus on those that have disabilities. I made 4 interesting prints using my own imagination. The first picture above is the new york city print in shades of grey. The second print is the rainbow polka dots using random uses of color. The third print is a floral print by making colorful flowers, and the fourth one is actually one of my favorites that I’ve made so far. I put random strokes of color to represent the strokes of a paintbrush, and that actually matches my user name “strokesofapaintbrush” for tumblr and instagram.
