as for having jupiter (or any planet, really) in retrograde, that doesn't make it a "bad" placement or planet in your chart.

having jupiter in retrograde just makes it harder for you to recognize the luck that jupiter gives you, and/or you might also be shunned or shamed for your beliefs because you hold them so close to you or because they're taboo compared to what others believe.
