Catra gifting Adora a very tiny She-Ra as a surprise

ok so

does EVERYONE know the rock that catradora found in the Horde scrapyard

its a blue rock and Catra's like, "it matches your eyes" and Adora is really gay in this moment and decides to keep this rock with her as a good luck charm and also to remind her of how much she cares for catra

well she doesnt keep the rock in canon thats where it goes into headcanon

the rock is actually amazonite

And Adora keeps it in the rebellion

And Adora tells She-Ra about this crystal and how much it means to her because esentially it was a gift from Catra

And She-Ra's like, 'I know how much this means to you, why don't you make it into a necklace so you can keep it at all times?"

And Adora agrees and boom its a lil wirewrapped crystal necklace and Adora keeps it tucked under her shirt wherever she goes

Catra has no idea she even kept the damn thing

Adora sleeps with it too

she never takes it off except to shower

She-Ra thinks its adorable that Adora kept something like this from the horde

Adora keeps it tucked in battle cuz she doesnt want catra to see because shes actually really embarrassed about it so even telling shera was a sign of trust

Adora gets sad when she sees the necklace but she cant bring herself to not have it with her always

Eventually she loses it in the crystal castle

And she is DEVASTATED

She cant find it anywhere, she's searching desperately for hours with tears in her eyes, its her only connection she has to Catra

eventually she gives up when its like 2 in the morning and She-Ra has to carry her to

Brightmoon

to get som fuckin sleep

But Adora cant sleep without it

cuddles do get her to sleep if only for a little while

A few months later

She-Ra comes in with a gift box, and Adora is curious as to what's inside

She-Ra presents it to her with a shy smile, gently asking her to open it, and Adora takes the box gingerly, setting it in her lap and unwrapping the lil bow it had on it

When she opens the box she physically gasps, its her necklace! She cries almost immediately and gives She-Ra the biggest hug and lots of sobbing thank yous and saying how much it means to her that she retrieved it

the headcanon is that Adora keeps the rock as her good luck charm/her connection to Catra, the au is the rest
