Has, of course, a fleeting idea that there is a tiny percent chance your awkwardness is a result of liking him back, or maybe it's just wishful thinking? It goes as fantastic as every first thing you do together goes (not fantastic). You're so stiff you slide right off him, so Daeron tells you to hold on.

And oh, do you hold on. Your arms come around his neck, feet hook below his knees. Daeron thinks you might strangle him and he doesn't mind, because he will die with tits plastered to his back.

You notice him struggling a little when your chin brushes his temple. So you decide to check. You're doing well, you tell him. Meek at first, just to see what happens. Daeron chuckles, that nervous kind of laughter telling you this is not fair play. Well, he's asked for it...
