It gets worse..."Shimmy Shimmy Ko-ko-bop" is the title of a song by Little Anthony and the Imperials. It's about a guy watching a girl dance. A black guy. Watching a "native girl" dance. Oh, and the camp song? It's title is "Down, Down, Baby" (as in "It goes down, down, baby" when Exo sings it) These songs were appropriated by Shaylen Carroll, sold to SM, sang by Exo and NO ONE WAS GIVEN CREDIT. Idgaf if copyright ended. That's wrong! Why is no one discussing this? Musicians take inspiration from everywhere. No one cares. No one cares until the inspiration isn't credited. Shame on Shaylen!
