I'm defending the shippers, not the ship.

First of all, why is Sharpwolf hated? Well, the main reason is that Antinous wanted to SA Penelope, who is Telemachus' mother, kill Telemachus and... the "age gap." Very good reasons, right? Yes, I agree. It's an awful ship and has no defendable qualities.

(I will not put the "Antinous wanted to rape Telemachus! That's what he meant by 'break his pride'!" because that's an HC y'all made to shit on the ship and I will not believe it unless I hear it from Jorge himself. Because he probably meant beating the shit out of him by that).

But the haters are very hypocritical and need to calm tf down.

First of all, they say they're against rape... until a REAL person is hypersexual and they cope it with Sharpwolf. Because they don't match their idea of a "perfect victim".

Examples:

The posts were made by an hypersexual person. Their description literally says "sharpwolf antis DNI", AND THEY STILL INTERACT WITH THEM, THROWING TRASH. LIKE, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! WHY DO YOU HAVE THE NEED TO COMMENT THAT?! JUST FUCKING BLOCK THEM.

WHY YOU GOTTA PUSH THEM TO FUCKING SUICIDE?!

Also, about the murder, uh... They're saying they'll do the same thing they so much hate Antinous for?

You hate harassment unless it benefits you? Hypocrite...

And to nobody's surprise, they make diddy jokes.

Btw, you CANNOT be a yume/selfshipper and hate on pro/darkshippers. Selfshipping was literally made by proshippers. And darkshippers are literally the reason yumeshippers don't get as harassed as they'd be nowadays. WE made it easier for y'all to have fun.

Because, in the eyes of real antis, you, dear yumeshipper, are the same garbage as your proshipper war veteran grandpa and your darkshipper neighbour.

They're so hypocritical, I can't. They will also say they hate Antinous for being a rapist, and then harass those who were ACTUALLY raped and find Sharpwolf a way of coping. Or hate Antinous for wanting to k-Telemachus and then say these stuff.

They'll say stuff like "find a better coping mechanism", acting like they're nice, and literally not name any example. First of all, it's NOT a coping mechanism. It can be used as such, but it's mainly not. Second, do you realize how ableist you sound? They're not hurting anyone by shipping it first of all. You care more about your own comfort than struggling people's mental health, and it shows, even if you try to hide it.

Also, as far as I know, since I am yet to finish the Iliad, in the Odyssey, Antinous didn't try to SA Penelope and killing Telemachus was a desicion made by all the suitors, not just him. But correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, it's not a proship. Proships don't exist. There are PEOPLE who proship, which means they don't harass people over ships (unlike most haters). The term they mean is "darkship", ilegal ships such as minor x adult, necro, incest and/or beastiality, and Sharpwolf isn't even that. It's a COMSHIP (complicated ship), because under no circumstance would they date in canon, and not because of any ilegality, but because they hate each other (and with good reason). Yes, a really dark comship, I see why they get confused, but still a comship.

Because they do all this, get away with doing it and still have the guts to call Sharpwolf shippers "the toxic part of the fandom".
