i was talking about this with my friend last night,, but apocalypse aus are so underrated. the intimacy of being isolated and alone with a small amount of people, or even just a pair is not talked about enough.

sharpness is maybe 22 here, meanwhile jude is around 12. sharpness was born into a normal life (before the apocalypse even started), going to a normal school, getting educated and having a normal childhood.
a year before the apocalypse starts, his father remarries and jude (aged 3 here) becomes his brother. they live normally for a short while, before chaos hits and they lose their parents. around 90% of the population becomes deceased, and sharpness takes the lead, protecting his little brother as much as he can. they slowly grow up together in an isolated community, and become closer every day.
