Sharks
Your outsides are soft
Rose petal scented skin
Touches sweeter than red wine
Dark eyes to fall asleep inside of
An effortless gift to the night
.
Your actions are both delicate and poignant
Black coffee with a splash of almond milk
Warm invitations and N64
But your back is always turned away
From the sun that filters in through the window
.
Your insides are hard
Eating the flesh of the avocado before removing its pit
Your tongue is connected to a deity that spits knives
But I smelled the ocean on your breath
And you are afraid to dive
.
