Little self indulgent if you will! Hi, very long time no see. Deep dive into Kpop demon hunters, started with my obsession to Jinu, but Mira is having the most firm grip on me.
Since I'm proud of how my writing has evolved, I made a little introduction of my own character Shang, a human form/shapeshifter as she is, of how she'd be if ever to be put in the Kpop demon verse! I know I have free will and just like to share more stories, regarding my own ocs or the ones I make with people (like ships, as writing will forever stay a fave for me)
INTRO START:
A very strong thud made its way onto the rooftops of korea. Two strong feet, balancing themselves well enough that no single sweep could move them out of it, seeming lighter than it was. Making sure the individuals below her wouldnt be woken up, she carefully walked to the front and moved from one roof to another, as silent as the wind, ironic to think what she really was.
two deep inhales and exhales were thrown out through the nostrils of the individual. Their stance being strong and surrounded by buildings that were unfamillair to them. A new place, but with a purpose that seemed to resemble something she'd done before. A common hunting ground on other asian grounds that have now led her to this new continent. In the hopes it may be of help. For demons, werent a thing she hasnt met before, as a matter of fact, it was more known than anything, even if it came to a surprise that many didnt assume they reached more countries than just korea.
Sensing the cold air with a hint of weird warmth coming through cracks in the ground beneath her, almost like a fireplace that shouldnt be existing, its smell being fairly unsettling.. seeing hints of purple seeking for humans.. "That cant be good" an ancient language spilled into the korean air as she jumped down.. Her usual build now neglecting her in order to mix among the people here, not nessesairly feeling out of place, but it certainly was different. Her known appearance was praised by people, even seen as a god in some time of history, but now, this seemed like the better option. Having a quick lookaround, a quandao appearing in her hand like magic, summoned before it started to slash the unwelcomed creatures back to where they came from. There were times she loved to have bare muscle use, using her massive claws.. Yet to make sure nothing could be revealed of her true nature, she decided to stick to her weapon for now.
The chinese individual had tried to reach out to see if there were any more people wanting to help, stop the growth of missing people along the way.. Even that aweful newd reached china. Hundreds started to get missing, and she wanted to get to the bottom of it.. Noticing patterns, behaviors, that werent from their lands.
But neither seemed to have gotten the letters nor ways to get a hold of anyone.. leaving her alone in her decisions, but not minding to do so. Surely they'd appreciate help, but just like previous times, appearing on someone else's battlefied couldnt always be appreciated, even if your intentions were in fact similar. A land is a land, claimed by one, and not easily shared to another.. Especially an outsider. She knew all too well what it was like, being as ancient as she was, but one thing she was certain about, for the amount of demons she's always crushed back into their own hell.. They needed support, even if they preferred to admit or not.
Not being raised as a hunter may give the girls a rather contemplating thought, she already assumed, but thanks to a warlord past of her own, she could see the honmoon and anything that had to do with demons.. Seeing tears appear, but mostly able to sense the bad intent of anyone.. which made it easy to detect demons, even if they hid away as a different person. It was a barrier she could look through. No energy was able to trick this fighter. It was a certain great ability to have, but at the same time it could feel like a punishment. Even if one didnt have the intent to be evil or bad, their energy could betray them, and she'd sense the heavyness nonetheless without being able to speak up about it.. That seemed to be a thing one of the hunters was great at too.. reading people. Not that she even knew at this rate.
Huntrix was about to finish their final tour and made a fantastic end to it all. They saw GOLD. GOLD.. They're getting so close.. Oh the energy was through the absolute roof. Nothing seemed to break their good streak of wonderful emotions. Surely no DEMONS should break their one moment of victory. Just this once.. please.
The old ancient creature had heard their voices echo into the night sky as they performed their final song and concert of their tour. man.. Talking about a dream and power. The strength for them to train so much.. To be chosen to do their duty. It was known in all of china as well. Respected.. That they protected not just korea but the world. The chinese beast had her own warrior yell, more like growl that would echo over the whole ground where it continued to break by its power.. A warning for those who wanted to fight over that broken land, in the hope to make peace.. but singing like them was a no no.. No way on earth could that be compared.
Noticing a gorgeous flow now covering the tears that were there before, a wave of pure energy that felt like the freshest breeze one could even dream off. a strengthener to the honmoon, a beautiful blue.. Giving the warrior her piece of a break. she sighed, having continued to try and go after every sign of demon she'd seen.. it werent as many, but she'd been travelling for weeks now. Letting her guard down this once, she gasped and fell backwards against a wall.. Letting her weapon dissapear. Just in time, she thought. Even if she had conquered countless of battles, constant fighting was never good for one to start with. taking a gentle rest, yet still out of instinct guarding the place, she pushed herself up and got to one of the highest buildings, sitting down, watching the night as it seemed to be as peaceful as it could be.. for now.
