My womb remembers. #Repost from August 14th, 2013. My thoughts have not changed. They have expanded. Silence is a mechanism of control... And today I feel the shifting of the heavens because, healing is taking place all over. I feel the wounds of freedom scabbing up and getting uglier. It is just as painful to bear witness to the pain and mortality of our people. Who are soooo angry. Soooo confused about this pain that the healing hurts like hell... So healing is avoided... Because we've gotten accustomed to absorbing the pain. We've come to believe it is a necessity. We are soooo set on keeping up with the same trends. Dilapidated in time... that today is no longer recognized as RIGHT NOW. We move for the chase, and the danger, and the chance... All well worth the risk, but at the hand of circumstance. What a tribulation to see the streets leaking with blood and flood waters... Currency exchanging peace for love and war... Children dying for injustices young and old... For one man plants the seed and another man waters it, yet it is the sender of the sun... That makes it to grow... So who are we to take away the light? To dim the contents of this life... And the sweet life to come. Afraid of the darkness because it's highly concentrated... Overdosed on melanin manifestos... Scared of its power... Because you fear what you can't see... The same darkness that carried out your proposed mission in 36 weeks... Who needs permission to be immaculately conceived, but the children of God asking to be born again... Footloose and fancy by the spin of a single wind. A drop of rain or beam of sunshine, and we have become enlightened... And all for what... If what we shall become...
