Yesterday, we crossed the bay in a ferry. We sat at the back and watched the shoreline gradually shrink. It was a cold wet June day.
We had the deck and the view to ourselves.
A swallow kept darting in and out as we crossed the bay, it appeared to be looking for a place somewhere in the infrastructure of the ship. We seem to be impeding its progress somehow?
I took this one picture. Put away my camera and sat and watched for the remainder of the trip.
Wild daisies at my doorstep.

Ripples frozen in time by Peter Thoeny - Quality HDR Photography Via Flickr: A bit south of Carmel-By-The-Sea near the iconic Highway 1 that runs along the California coast is a tiny valley with lily flowers. We went there for sunset. A small creek flows into the Pacific Ocean, forming ever changing tiny valleys and hills with ripples. I froze the action with a very short exposure time. I processed a balanced and a photographic HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
