some vampire!epel and shadowhunter!riddle interactions
âWas Vil there when youâŚ.â
âGot turned?â Epel finished for him, chuckling slightly. âNah, he found me a few hours after, when I was about to feed on some poor mundane.â Upon seeing the Shadowhunters' shock, he continued speaking. âThe first 24 hours after crawling out of the grave are the roughest, âspecially if you donât have someone familiar there with you. I didnât have anyone.â He shrugged lamely. âDonât worry your little head, Rosehearts. I didnât harm anyone.â
âBut you could have,â Riddle hissed. âYou could have killed innocent people!â
Epelâs look shifted, eyes slanting. He leaned in close to Riddle, grabbing his arm lightly and pulling him to a stop. âI suggest,â he began, an irritated huff in his voice, âthat you put your so-called âteachingsâ and âThe Lawâ behind you. Because otherwise, the next day is gonna be real rough for you, you hear me?â He let go, walking again. âStupid children of the Angel, always thinking of themselves and no one else. When will they learn?â he grumbled to himself, just loud enough so that Riddle could hear from where he stood, feet frozen on the ground.
