Ingrid is the final character to be implemented into World Tour mode. All DLC characters afterward will be going into Avatar Arcade mode. Stories with loose ends like Falke’s whereabouts, JP’s plans for Ed and Bison, and Vega & Balrog’s interest in going back to Shadaloo won’t be fully fleshed out anymore.

Looking retrospectively, Capcom shouldn’t have put too much resources on SNK guest characters in WT mode. Also a lot of the side missions after the Bison update or starting with Elena were kind of about…nothing? Like it’s good for world building like having a device to talk to animals, but it leads to no where when it comes to story. Like a lot of the side missions is just either fighting NPCs or finding stuff, but nothing pertains to the imminent Shadaloo lore. Thinking about it, a lot of the One Fateful Days had very little influence to the main WT plot. Terry and Mai, all about Fatal Fury. Elena, nothing on Secret Society nor Shadaloo. Sagat, hates Shadaloo and wants nothing to do with it. C. Viper, looking into Shadaloo, but rather focus on her daughter, so nothing substantial comes out of it. Alex…lmao. Only Ingrid has something to do with the main WTM, but she’s there to change the course of it.

Sure, probably all of the Shadaloo story ended because of time travel. JP being hospitalized before the Nayshall tournament and Ingrid put Bison in his place.

But the point of the time travel is to save Bosch; I don’t know if JP is still going to do shady business in trying to get Ed and Bison together to do some sort of unknown plan after he recovers. That plan was stated by one of FANG’s underlings. That being said, what about FANG’s plan to revive Shadaloo? Surely that’s not gonna stop him because he’s working against JP and he thinks Bison is “imperfect” in his partial amnesiac state.

Now that WT is over, Vega who is most likely coming back for S4 and may be interested in going back to Shadaloo won’t be able to flesh out the WT story anymore. Then again, maybe because of the time travel stuff, Vega’s story might focus on his relationship with Ignacio in his arcade mode…?? I don’t know.

My copium is that when you fight your new master in Avatar Arcade Mode, they’ll at least provide 2 cinematic scenes for said character in their stage or somewhere and add some illustrations for their memories. Like, they could totally do that without putting an entire world tour mode with pointless missions, and just go straight to the meat of it instead. Thats just my thought though.

I've been sitting on this project for the better part of the year now, and I think it's finally time to stop hoarding it to myself...

I've been planning a M. Bison x Reader long-fic that follows the events of Street fighter II to Street Fighter V and I'm hoping to eventually begin posting it on AO3 once I've built enough chapters.

One of the biggest reasons I decided to do this is because of the lack of M. Bison fanfics in general. So after spending far too long searching, alongside my many years of obsessing over this man, I eventually thought I'll just write one myself.

My goal isn't to redeem him or sand away the qualities that make him such an iconic character, rather, I want to explore what happens when a man like M. Bison manages to form genuine human connections without ever ceasing to be the ambitious, megalomaniac he is.

The reader herself is a fighter capable of standing alongside the Four Kings. The fic focuses on how her relationship with M. Bison develops through a marriage of convenience. Along the way, I also wanted to give the rest of Shadaloo the attention I feel they deserve. Characters like Sagat, Vega, Balrog and F.A.N.G all play significant roles throughout the story, each with their own relationships and character arcs rather than simply being supporting, background characters.

I've probably spent an unhealthy amount of time replaying endings, reading lore, browsing old interviews and researching the ever-changing timeline because I really want this story to feel like it could exist alongside the canon rather than a be a replacement of it.

But, before I eventually start posting it, I'd genuinely love to hear from other Street Fighter fans!

I'd love to know what you guys would like to see in M. Bison fanfics in general, what makes you immediately click away and if there are any suggestions or wishes you may have!

I'd love to hear your thoughts (and if you just want to ramble about M. Bison in general, please do!)

Hopefully, if all goes to plan, you'll be seeing the first few chapters on AO3 sometime in the near future.
