Speaking of Silent Hill, do you have any thoughts on the SH1 remake announcement?
Double edged sword, but for the most part way better than I felt about the SH2 Remake. Cautiously optimistic, even.
They have way more wiggle room with Silent Hill 1 given its age, the gyromancy goofier cult story, the knowledge of what happens in SH3, etc. But not having as short a leash as they did for SH2R could very easily be disastrous. If you’ve ever played/seen The Medium, you know how ‘Bloober Team does Silent Hill their way’ went — woof.
That’s just my two cents tho.
