Singapore just finished our 9 day election season and there are Thoughts and Issues we are all debating but for international viewers i think one of the key discourse highlights was some 50 year old man digging a very strange hole for himself by:
1) saying in one speech "don't ask me about [the Leader of the Oppostion]. I don't want to think about him. (pause) I'm not gay."
2) in a following speech, saying "I'm a straightforward man. I'm straight! I'm straight! I'm straight!!"
And the whole nation responded with a resounding "Nobody asked, man." And gave him and his antivaxx friends 0.43% of the vote share in that district.
