johnson sacrificed himeslf so that mary and james could live because there was only enough oxygen on the speceship for two, but then mary wiped herself out of the timeline anyway. so he didnt really have to die which makes me very sad (i phrased it kinda neutral but i am very sad about it)
also, imagine being james and returning to earth after all of this. coming to earth of before their flight, not knowing how much to tell his and james' young selves. should he tell them about mary's heroic death? should he tell mary's young self herself about her own death, how she worked thirty years just to save her husband, and then be wiped off from the timeline? would anyone even believe him?
yeah i am thinking way too seiously about a play that was mostly composed of "we dont know shit about science" but i rewatch it a few days ao and it made me Sad so i wanted to write stuff down
So, while cleaning the room these two ended up on the bed. Because I am lazy, after getting my blankets sorted (it's cold, so, I layer them) I didn't want to leave the bed. Deciding I would move them later, I left them alone.
Started watching something else (while procrastinating, like a true writer. Yes, I have it on good authority that's what writers do), and forgot about them in the background. Until, I looked up for one reason or another and there they were.
Considering the amount of sfth videos I have inhaled the past few days (recently got into them, and sort of-kind of-maybe just maybe lost my mind... would neither confirm nor deny), it's no surprise my mind went Sam and Luke (with Luke dying dramatically).
But the image also had signature plaid of Sam superimposed on the blue bear (officially named Joy I), and I lost my mind laughing. Now my brain is cooking up ideas (especially because it knows I HAVE a plaid shirt somewhere in my pile of clothes).
And honestly, depending on my level of motivation I might just give in.
