The Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital Archives has its first collection available as part of UCSF’s digital collections on Calisphere!
The collection consists of over 100 digitized images scanned from 3 x 5 cellulose acetate negatives that date from the 1930s. The images document the exteriors of the hospital buildings as well as interior rooms, hallways, equipment, and staff.

|3.20.18--3.23.18| There's nothing more scary than going to ER by myself and thinking of the worst. Monday evening was an experience I'll never forget. First hospitalization. 7 IVs total. 2 cerebral angiogram. Multiple CTs. 4 nights. Subdural hemorrhage from an arterio-venous fistula on my cortical vein on left hemisphere of my brain. Glad that it is somehow over now and that I cab say, I'll live. Thankful for everyone who visited, messaged, called; and I MEAN EVERYONE. I truly felt the love and support. Truly a learning experience. My neurosurgeons, ICU/ER nurses, and the rest of health team has been 💯 awesome. Couldn't ask for a better life than this. #sfgh #life (at Zuckerberg San Francisco General)
