"I can’t imagine that Stiles would actually want to hurt anybody that way considering he spends time even protecting people he supposedly hates." stiles wanted to kill jackson like, he literally was SAD that scott didn't think about killing him too. stiles only cares about people he loves, like scott or his dad. he doesn't protect people he doesn't care about. and he's always been an asshole so stiles saying that is definitely less ooc than scott throwing isaac around

I would agree with you 100% that it is less out of character for Stiles to say that then for Scott to do what he did. But I also think that between the seasons a lot of character development has occurred. And I think that the thoughts of killing Jackson were pegged on by 1) bullying from Jackson and 2) jealousy of Jackson and Lydia. But I think that Stiles is mouthy and he says a lot of things he doesn’t mean and that’s more his character, but I think when it came down to it Stiles would never be able to look somebody in the eye and kill them. And I think if we go back and look at how Stiles took Jackson and undressed/helped dress (I can’t remember?) him and offered him a sandwich in the back of the police car kind of shows that he genuinely didn’t want to kill him or would only want to if he knew it was the only way to stop the other deaths. And I think it’s just so out of character for Scott because Scott is the one who would remind Stiles of morality and the fact that he didn’t do it twice in one episode blows my mind.
However, I am going to agree with you. Stiles has some major character flaws and they should not go ignored and it is definitely more in character for Stiles to have said it then Scott to have pushed Isaac. But in the end, I think it really comes back to the fact that those two scenes should have never happened.
