"Ready?" you asked, trying to hide the small smile that was slipping from you. You covered Chun Li's eyes, hiding away the gift you had for her. You heard a soft and tired sigh from your girlfriend; she was definitely getting tired of your shenanigans. "Whatever you have planned…it better be good, I'm getting tired of your games, r/n." You roll your eyes slightly. You knew she was right, but still, couldn't Chun Li give you a little more patience? "Okay, Okay…i made you wait long enough," you teased, still covering her eyes. "Three…Two…" You took your hands off Chun Li's eyes, stepping in front as you awaited her sight. When Chun Li opened her eyes, she was beyond awe. "Ta-da! What do you think?" Chun Li held in a gasp at what was in front of her, a small feast containing hotpot, dumplings, stir fry, and sweet crepes and cakes. Small candles created a comforting lighting for the food, making you look far more beautiful in her eyes. "I had a bit…okay, a ton of help from Li Fen, we managed to make you all of this, and it worked out better than expected…plus-" You blushed, pausing from your rambling, you couldn't tell if Chun Li liked your gift or not…she hasn't said a word since! "I heard you mention how you like crepes…this whole thing seems silly, I know…But I wanted to do something amazing for your birthday and-" But before you could finish, Chun Li held you in her arms, leaning her head on your shoulder as she kissed your cheek, "R/n…sweetie, this is…beyond amazing, it's-" Chun Li couldn't finish, she was too overcome with joy to finish her words

Chun Li pulled back to look at you. She smiled. The lighting really did make you pretty; everything did. Her lips touch yours, you kiss back, sharing a soft and intimate kiss between one another. After a while, she pulls back, and so do you. "Finally! I thought you two would NEVER get all facey with each other!" The two of you froze…the voice didn't belong to you or Chun Li, which can only mean…

Luke would think that after some intense…sparring that the both of you would be out of breath

Clearly, he was both wrong and shocked when he saw you pull out a cigarette

You can feel his gaze on you as you smoked through your first one

you totally offer him one sometimes but he always declines

He joked a few times about if you knew the effects behind your…stress relief. (you did btw)

Something about how the chemicals can be harmful and yadda yadda.

You know luke was a health junky for most things anyways (except for pizza-)

I don't think luke would shame you for smoking, that's not cool in his eyes, but definetly expect a small lecture or two about the habit

He would try and offer you other ways to destress if needed

If you still smoked despite this tho, He won't freak out. just get a little worried

Overall, Luke's gonna be a hardass on you for your habits but he's not gonna be intense about it or anything

-Jamie is more…neutral about your smoking habits.

-He knows it won't get in the way of you guys and having fun in bed

-I can see you laying on jamie's chest as you lit a cigarette, the smoke dancing in the room as you blew

-(you knew jamie was gonna bitch at you for that but you didn't care lol)

-He questions how you don't look tired after sex AND smoking...

-The most I can see jamie doing is giving one tense warning about smoking too much.

-Maybe remark about how you look like a "criminal thug" while doing so

-Other than that, I can see him being semi chill

-He's a little annoyed but as long as you don't smoke in his face, you guys are cool

-Sometimes you like to joke about how his "herbal tea" amd your smoking habits are kinda in the same boat

-He ofc, argues about how it's not the same and how his tea really is tea.

-At the end of the day, you both know it's in good fun.

-Rashid gets more worried when he finds you smoking

-He's seen you do it at least a few times, when you guys hangout, after sex, ect ect

-He's not gonna get on your case as much someone like luke but he will give a small glance as you unwind

-He gives some light jokes about smoking but nothing big

-Offers you water after sex in hopes you take a small break from smoking

-…You hate to admit it but it works sometimes

-You offer him a cigarette from time to time but he always declines Not shocking, he does do parkour and streaming…probably not too stressed or worried about picking up the habit

-He tries to be chill with your habit but he can't help but feel a little worried

°Overral, Ed's whole goal would be to try and…help Aki

°Maybe if he can, he could get her to stop working for Fang…maybe free her and change her life for the better

°Meanwhile, Aki wouldn't give Ed's "view" entertain the idea of Ed helping her , not really giving the whole thing much thought

°…secretly, she isn't fully against this. (There's a reason why she hasn't killed Ed yet)

°You know how some couples have different ways of flirting…maybe through cheesy one-liners or light teasing

°With Ed and Aki…their version of flirting is straight up trying to beat the living CRAP out of each other

°No- seriously, they will try and beat the shit out of each other until one is standing (it's neither btw :3)

°Their fights consist of punches being thrown from Ed's part, while Aki would prod at Ed with her poisoned claws

°While this happens, they may throw a jab or two at each other, commenting on how dumb their fighting style is and the flaws they'd make during the fight

°Which would lead to the two getting in too close…

°You guys know those intense fight scenes in shows where the two enemies get a little too intimate during the battle?

°yeah, that's basically Ed and Aki

°They would play it off as "getting too carried away," but deep down, they both knew it was a lie.

°When they AREN'T trying to murder each other, they would just chill out and hang out in abandoned areas

°They'd talk for a bit, maybe poke fun at each other, or trauma bond

°…you know, normal friend stuff

°If they end up in a public space, Ed would keep a close eye on Aki to make sure she doesn't try anything fishy

°most times, nothing happens, but there will be moments for Ed having to tap into his psycho power and pull Aki back with his tendrils before she "erases" someone

°Would the "erasing" be for a good reason? (judging by the thief in Aki's opening cutscene…probably) but ed can't just let that happen

°too much work for the whole thing to keep under wraps anyway

°now here's some slightly silly hcs :3

°Aki will try and mess with Ed through her flexibility, maybe wrap a leg around his neck (or some snake shit idk.)

°Ed would always cringe at Aki's movements, cursing under his breath as he tries to get her to stop with the "snake bullshit"

°This makes Aki giggle as she enjoys seeing Ed freak out in her arms (or legs)

°Aki tends to get close to Ed's space, but it doesn't give her the reaction Aki wants from him

°Ed would probably try out some of Aki's herbal medicines, thinking it couldn't be as "intense" as Aki makes it out to be

°Spoiler alert, he almost dies.

°He'd definitely play it off afterwards, saying "it wasn't that bad and that she shouldn't be so dramatic about things"

°Aki would offer him more in the future, to which Ed would quickly decline (hmm, wonder why?😏)

°Ed's teasing the living shit out of Aki, whether it's through taunting or cocky jabs, he's probably gonna try and piss off Aki a bit just for fun

°Aki may be a dangerous, freaky-deaky, assassin…but that's not gonna stop ed from messing with her justtttt a little bit

°if by the off chance that Ed and Aki are just lying down and getting rest, they would probably be awkward with each other

°Should they speak through the silence? Should they touch or give each other some form of comfort?

°They usually end up just holding hands as they lie down and bask in the comforting silence

°This is the part where Aki and Ed get real with each other

°No bullshit or psychological mind games...just pure honesty and vulnerability

°Ed would talk about how badly his nightmares torment his mind.

°He wouldn't mention how the experiments and bison will always haunt his mind, but Aki will always know there's more to what Ed's saying

°Aki may or may not give hints on how she doesn't feel good enough or how disgusting she finds herself at times

°She always mentions how she'll be a tool, that her only purpose is to erase and kill whatever her master orders her to.

°Ed, no matter how many times he hears this, he will always try to make Aki see that this isn't what she is.

°That she can make her own life, her own choices, she didn't have to be a weapon for someone who didn't even care about her

°No matter how many times aki hears this speech from Ed…it never works.

°She always ends up ignoring him in the end, thinking that being "free" will always be a silly daydream for her

°Despite these two having sweet moments at times, they're rare for a reason.

°In the end, things may seem hopeful for the two. Ed would believe that maybe there's actually a chance at making Aki see that she can have a normal life, thinking she'll leave Fang and Shadaloo behind to be free…live for herself.

°maybe even spend her life with him.

°And for a second… Aki considers this, and she finds it nice to have such a silly daydream in her thoughts

°But in the end, Aki will have to turn away from these silly ideas, force herself to focus on mastering Fang's craft, and make him proud

°she's nothing without him and she'll never forget that fact, no matter what

°Even if she has to cut all ties with Ed and erase him from this world…she'll do whatever it takes to make Fang pleased
