After spending time with Severus every day for the past couple of months, it was strange to go a couple of days without him. She managed Saturday, seeing her parents was enough of a distraction not to worry about him too much, but now it was Sunday night and she was lonely. Usually the two of them would get dinner and watch a movie together on Sundays, so being alone for the first time in awhile felt odd. It was while she was cooking that Daisy noticed the bottle of rum sitting on the counter. She could only assume that Severus had left it there, seeing as she hadn't bought it, and it gave her an idea. Every time she had a drink, it always seemed to put her in a better mood, so perhaps it would help her miss Severus a little less.
It didn't seem to work, though, after four drinks she seemed to only miss him more. Eventually she couldn't take it anymore, she just wanted to see him and make sure he was okay, so she decided to pull on her shoes and jacket and head over to Severus' place to check up on him. Apparating just a few feet from his door, she took a moment to stable herself as she landed, giggling to herself at how wobbly she was. Marching up to his door, Daisy contemplated simply trying the knob and letting herself in, but she figured Severus wouldn't just leave it unlocked and she knocked instead. It felt like she was waiting forever for him to answer, but when the door finally opened, she could feel her features light up as she looked at him. "Oh, good! You're home." She giggled, staring at him with wide eyes, "I missed you, and I really wanted a hug."
