This movie has been on my to watch list since a while. As a horror/true crime fan this is a classic.
For the general idea, I truly liked it. Using the seven deadly sins as a way of killing people is such a genius idea. Also the way it was shown on seven days made it so much more interesting. I loved how they showed the different days and killings.
Now the actors itself, lets be honest with us all Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman are such good actors. These two portrayed the characters Mills and Somerset so well. While watching I thought more then once that Mills is way to angry for this job, which is kinda foreshadowing. Also I didn’t even know that Gwyneth Paltrow played in the movie as well. I adore her acting as well.
The general deaths are quite horrifying, the worst for me was Lust. Even though it was portrayed pretty well, did I maybe gag a bit. Truly disgusting which makes this movie so much better.
The ending itself was a bit disappointing, I did kinda see it coming about halfway in the movie in. I mean the concept itself was good but personally for me, I definitely saw it coming.
I’d say this movie is a 9/10. Apart from the ending it was fantastic.
