In Dreams We Find: Oliver & Thea
Thea laid down in her bed, weary as always of late of going to sleep, but she knew Malcom was right. She couldn’t risk being completely unresponsive in case Ra’s al Ghul decided to go on the offensive about this whole killing them thing. Still, not taking her pills made her nervous; it had been a week already and nothing had happened, but it still could. She remember what it was like to go to sleep in her own bed and wake up in various places: outside Oliver’s bedroom door, outside on the driveway, and in the most memorable insistence, in the rain on the dock where the Gambit had once been docked. She really didn’t want to start that again.
She sighed as she wrapped her arms around her pillow, waiting for sleep to take her away. It wouldn’t take her long to drift off after the day she’d had. Five minutes later and Thea was falling into her dreams, worries slipping away for the moment. After an about an hour of rest, Thea flipped back her covers from her legs before climbing out of her bed. She made her way across the room slowly, her feet dragging slightly on the carpet. Her fingers reached out and flipped the lock before she pulled open her door. Her feet scuffled across the floor as she made her way down the hallway, quiet in the silence of the night around her.
Thea reached out and took a hold of the doorknob, turning it slowly before stepping inside the room. Muscle memory led her up to the bed before she climbed up on it, her knees settling on the soft comforter before she laid down beside him. She wrapped an arm loosely around his waist before she molded herself to his side. His skin was so warm against her; it made her smile softly as she said in a soft sleepy sigh, “Ollie.”
