Dampaknya, beberapa tim membubarkan tim. Bahkan, sebagian meliburkan skuadnya hingga batas waktu yang tidak ditentukan. Salah satunya adalah Bali United. -- Dikonfirmasi kemarin, CEO @baliunitedfc Yabes Tanuri mengatakan, skuad Serdadu Tridatu hanya diliburkan sampai batas waktu yang belum ditentukan. “Klub masih tetap ada. Kami menunggu keputusan resmi dan kepastian panggilan berjalannya liga,” terang adik kandung Anggota Exco PSSI Pieter Tanuri itu. -- “Bali United tetap ada klubnya dan masih akan tetap di Bali,” tambah Yabes. Yang jelas, setelah Liga 1 dihentikan dan rencananya baru kembali digelar pada Februari tahun depan, itu artinya subsidi dari PT. I had to dig up old OC sheets to find one to talk about before I settled for Settan (which sounds a lot like Satan, just with more emphasis on the second A).
So Settan is a god, specifically the God of Sickness and he’s a minor god that works under the Japanese God of Pestilence, Ekibyogami. He’s quiet and doesn’t talk a lot and doesn’t seem to really care about others but he honestly does. It’s just that most people fear him and so he has learned not to grow close with others. He has powers to make people ill upon touching them and is usually responsible for someone seeming to catch a cold/flu out of nowhere. He can also spread more serious diseases but he cannot give someone something complex and deadly like cancer, something genetic like autoimmune disorders, or anything like STDs/STIs or HIV/AIDS. His diseases revolves strictly around diseases that attack immune systems and can be passed via air or touch.
Anyway, he came into being during the Feudal period in Japan after a severe plague spread rapidly across the country, killing many, like a not-as-severe Japanese Black Plague. The people were fearful and decided that it must be a god’s doing, and as such, prayed to such a god to protect them from the disease. However because they put so blame of the disease on said god, when Settan was formed, he ad the power of giving diseases rather than curing them. So now when the Japanese people pray and give to Settan’s shrine, they are praying that he avoids giving them a sickness, rather than actually protect them/cure them of a disease. Now, due to advances in medicine and the understanding of illnesses, people rarely visit Settan and he is slowly being forgotten.
