but today was different and you managed to catch setsuna off guard

when she grinned and teased you with the words "i bet you're thinking about how pretty i look right now, right~?" you just nodded and replied "i do" 

it took her a moment to realize what you had said and you could see the exact moment that she realized it, as her eyes widened and her cheeks turned red

after all that teasing, she really couldn't handle even a small playful comment like that from you and it was quite amusing to watch, as she turned around and hid her blushing face behind her hands…

•You two had been together for a long time now, and despite that you’d never been on an ‘official’ date.

•Sure, you two take walks in the forest together, but you can probably imagine how that goes (you often wonder how her foot hasn’t come right off with how many bear traps she’s stepped in).

•Setsuna may be lazy 90% of the time, but that doesn’t mean she won’t show her affection for you the old fashioned way.

•So she invites you out on a date out of the blue!

•You walk into your room and find a bouquet of your favorite flower and a sweet note inviting you to a candlelight dinner.

•It surprises both you and anyone who knows about you two. Really, people were thinking you’d be the one to ask her out on a proper date!

•She makes sure to specify that dressing up isn’t required. Whatever you wear is a-ok! (she thinks you look wonderful in anything anyways-)

•She herself will probably wear her normal attire with a little more effort put into it. Everything will be cleaned and washed and she’ll even wear a little makeup! (dresses aren’t her thing).

•She’ll ask you to meet sometimes later in the evening, just before the sun goes down. She wants to be able to have dinner then go for a walk later on.

•When you arrive, she’s rushing around with Hinoka trying to fix the burning sweets and finish your favorite food. You walk in on her and the only thing she can do is drop everything and let out a half-hearted “surprise!...”

•The kitchen would be a mess and she’d probably be covered in ingredients depending on what she was making.

•At least she was trying?

•Either way, she’ll most likely dismiss the earlier fiasco and take you stargazing or for a walk, which is her definition of a romantic date.

•She’ll point out different constellations she learned from Hinoka and just talk with you, letting you vent if you need to. She’s a great listener surprisingly!

•If you don’t feel like having a conversation she’ll walk along with you while holding your hand, swinging it absentmindedly.

•Will try to share a kiss under the moonlight because that’s what everyone says is ‘romantic’, but at the least second she’ll trap you both in a net...

•Afterwards, she’ll trap you in bed with her for sleepy cuddles. She’ll have to make up the dinner to you some other time, dates are exhausting and too much work-
