[ sO SOMEONE ELSE BROUGHT THIS UP TO ME but basically like. the female & male body structures, they have some trends. they don’t ALWAYS apply but there’s a pretty solid skew one way or the other, so this goes off of the assumption that chris fits the molds–

female and male hips don’t move the same way. female hips move in a more circular way, it has to do with being able to carry babies and stuff. now, throughout the game, we don’t get much of a solid view of chris’ hip motions– except for one scene in particular: when he’s limping away from handigo, post- the stranger dying.

limping exaggerates your hip motions– and his hip motions there? they’re circular. so does that mean chris has a female hip structure? it’s definitely possible, bros. so i like to use it as evidence for transboy chris, my smol trans child that i adore with all of my heart.

additionally, a few additional little thoughts–

josh finds out chris is trans very early on in their relationship– they’re so close, it’s not something he can hide for long. josh is IMMEDIATELY supportive– paying for chris’ puberty blockers, buying him a bunch of binders (“i don’t need twenty, josh!!” “but what if you DID..”), taking him shopping for more masc clothing. such a sweetie.

his breasts are small to begin with (Bs, perhaps?) so it’s very easy for him to bind them flat. the puberty blockers made his voice stay pretty neutral, but what deepness he can’t achieve, he’s learned to pitch down (mainly with josh’s help)

he’s completely closeted to everyone but josh, the washingtons, and his own family. everyone thinks he’s a cis boy. he’s too afraid to let any of them know, ‘lest they reject him.

the puberty blockers having kept his breasts small has helped a lot with dysphoria– but he still has off-days where he just. really dislikes his body. poor bby. he wants to get surgery– but the hannah and beth happened, and the next year was hard, and then until dawn happened, and damned if he was thinking about surgery then. especially with his main source of transition funds gone oops.
