Arrested Youth - āFearāAlbum Review

September 27th brought the release of Kentucky-based artist Arrested Youthās debut album, Fear. The record comes as the first non-dance release from New York-based label Lowly Palace.
Emotionally fueled and brutally honest, Fear is a triumph for the new wave of genre-bending alternative. Incorporating elements of punk, hip hop, and dance music, it creates the perfect storm of angst and insight into the mind of the projectās frontman, Ian Johnson. Songs like āVANSā and āMirrorsā tap into the pressures of societal and social acceptance, while others focus on our tech addiction (āPainting in Parisā). The record as a whole feeds into the artistās seething review of 21st century society, and gives a voice to those who are angry, frustrated, and discouraged by the current state of the world.
Arrested Youth is currently on tour in the U.S supporting British punk artist Yungblud until October 27th. His socials are listed below.
