Sometimes I get really in my head about whether or not he likes hanging out with me but then I remember i genuinely do not care. If he were to decide to treat me how he treats everyone else I would be able to live with that.

They enjoy their 4th with the other prefects until it starts to get dark out & Jakob tries to excuse himself. For a guy who doesn’t mind loud noises, fireworks get to him. Seth recognizes this and they slip off from the group as the sun is setting.😼

I’d imagine they’d have to visit Seth’s grandpa in blue skies but that doesn’t go over well and only upsets Jakob more (he doesn’t like him.) So, after that the two go to the Carlton’s house and sit in the basement to watch a movie together. Most of it consists of Seth squeezing Jakob for that needed pressure and trying to make sure he’s good.

Seth’s likely very annoyed by his grandfather, having to correct him so many times before they left. Though being reminded that Jakob wanted to be inside before any major fireworks went off made it easier to step away and not fight the old man. He’s more blasé about it all and seeing as he snagged a beer or two he has no issue with missing the fireworks. He wasn’t one for big crowds anyways.
