Since I’ve been in Syracuse. 2013- Welcome (Who am I) 2014- Transformation (Why am I here) 2015- Start It Up Donated my whole year to the Dunbar Center as per I attended as a child and didn’t want to see it shut down. Joined OnPoint For College to travel to schools in urban areas to share with hundreds of students my life story and to make our children aware of the opportunities that exist for them no matter what. Instilling into their minds that their attitude and actions are what creates the future. 2016- Where Do I Grow From Here I promoted healthier living to over 70 youth that showed up to the Dunbar Center because they saw my poster in their community. Every child was fed, left with gifts, participated in our obstacle course, Zumba and much more. Thanks to our local donors, our volunteers, the Dunbar Center, myself and my team. My internship with the Building Men program has inspired me to build up even more men in our communities. 2017- You're Gonna Learn Today Showed my students how to be themselves and noticed a big difference in everyone of them upon seeing them in 2018. I joined the 100 Black Men’s Saturday Academy where I implemented my own curriculum through arts. Students learned a lot without even noticing they were learning. Each of those years I picked up youth from my community on random holidays and took them to get gifts, treats and snacks, or just out for fun. Most of the time it was out of pocket or I borrowed loans because the youth are our future and I know what it’s like to have nothing so I give. 2018- Im Ready Im still with the 100 Black Men’s Saturday Academy and I’m still pushing OnPoint Early Awareness agenda in the midst of pushing the agenda of We Need Purpose. In 2018 I know why I’m here in Syracuse. I came here homeless and I’ve never felt more at home. #weneedpurpose #insomniacookies #help #support #donate #sethberkowitz @insomniacookies #change #PoolOfPurpose #POP #freedom #challenge #growth #wealth #success (at Syracuse, New York)
