My butterfly, What we had in a short period is very crucial, but who would have thought that a mistake would lead me into loving you so deeply. You are the love I thought; I could have. You are the love I pondered to give my all to, without hesitation, without barriers. I loved you more than I loved myself. You will always occupy that space in my heart, but My love, I'm struggling too. I know you promised to love me until I learned to love myself, but it would be unfair to you. Our love is not enough to fill the void and to take the pain away. You were the love I ought to fight for; you are the love I fought so hard for that I thought I could win. But I can't love you enough without loving myself first. I am learning to go through it little by little because I need to find my sanity and make a home of myself again. Maybe in another life, in a hundred worlds, in any version of reality, I'd find you and choose you. But for now, let me pick myself first, let me love myself first. Let us meet each other again in our next life wherein circumstances cannot get in the way of me loving you, in a life where I can love you freely, in a world that will give us a good life, and if that happens, please give me a chance. May you love better and love harder.
