what the flying fuck is going on??? i wake up to see a warzone from 4 am and then also more of rickβs stupidity wtf
there are four things that i can think of:
1, the most pressing is that rick our beautiful diversity martyr released a statement about piper mclean and the racism that (definitely) went into his character. normally i would say, read and decide for yourself, but white ass rick is pathetic for not properly apologizing, fearing cancel culture, and not shutting up. he created pjo and with it has added racist stereotypes into his characters... @tsigililimclean, @pjolesbian, and @piperisgay have talked about it with multiple points, but i believe the later has gone to take a much needed break. it's ridiculous.
2, people are now figuring out that the actors who played annabeth and percy, daddario and learman, were in a relationship despite learman being 17/18 while daddario was 23/24. additionally they were engaged and he cheated on her??? unbelievably messy
3, rick's wife, becky, made weird ass cryptic tweets about past mistakes (racism π) and not harrassing the actors... like anyone would harrass CHILDREN for the racism and misogyny of the creators, but knowing this fandom, they absolutely will [I don't think I linked the tweets in the right order, but it's all the same thread so it doesn't matter]
4, it's tannabeth chase's birthday π
