HIS IMPATIENCE WASN'T ANYTHING SURPRISING, not to moon. it was lucky if he could get the other to sit still for ten minutes before their shifts. in the morning he was even worse, as if his sleep had given him another push of energy. getting him all fixed up for the day to start was a task, one that moondrop didn't mind taking into his own hands. their costumes for the job was a big part of their employment. fazbear entertainment was both parts babysitting as it was making sure they were playing the role of a character. ❝ there won't be any time later, the kids will be arriving soon. now - let me finish up. ❞ perfecting the bow in shape, it wasn't until he was satisfied with it's appearance that he let sunny go. ❝ of course, are you going to be able to do it correctly. if not, i'll grab a mirror and do it myself. ❞ he's not opposed to the notion of accepting sundrop's assistance with his appearance, but if it turns out like any of his other projects - then he knows that he will be redoing it after the fact.

     The head of security hums, the hefty torch resting against his shoulder as he watches the animatronic for a few minutes. Always interesting to see how their programming works -- to understand it better, considering it is based off his designs.       “You're going to fry a wire running around like that,” Alex finally speaks up, “There are employees to help clean up, Sundrop. Just breathe. It will be fine ; things like this happens.”

❝ let's start from the top. act two, scene two. ❞ clearing his throat before he began, he needed a moment to find his voice. ❝ O, speak again, bright angel, for thou art As glorious to this night, being o’er my head, As is a wingèd messenger of heaven Unto the white-upturnèd wond’ring eyes Of mortals that fall back to gaze on him When he bestrides the lazy puffing clouds And sails upon the bosom of the air. ❞ gesturing his hand for sundrop to follow, he waits eagerly to hear his lines next.

HE HAD ONLY DISAPPEARED FOR A FEW MINUTES,    not  nearly  long enough for anything to happen  —  or so he thought.    that  tone of voice  that sunny took didn’t mean anything good.   something had happened for sure,  otherwise there would be no reasoning for the  meek  ‘ hey’    he received upon entering their joint room.    his bed was the first thing that he noticed,   covered in craft glitter  —  his  dark - colored  sheets only making the golden glitter stick out in stark contrast.    ❝    WHAT  were you thinking?  ❞   there was no one else to place blame on;   only one person in the room with a guilty expression on their face.  no matter how  cute  that he might have looked wearing it,   there was no forgiveness in his heart at the moment.   all he could wonder was  why  the other thought that opening an entire container of glitter over his bed would be a sound idea.  at times,   he wondered if sunny had any thought behind those bright eyes.   ❝    go  get something to clean this up with,  and  —  ❞   consider what you’ve done?   man,   he really sounded like he was scolding one of the children from the daycare.  a bad habit that he realized he crossed over when he was talking to the other.  sometimes the behavior lined up so soundly that he couldn’t stop himself from reacting like he was handling a toddler.  

the children continued to laugh & play in the meanwhile, unbothered by the spat between their caretakers. ❝ who taught you to hit like that? the kids? ❞ he taunted finally, unable to stop himself from a smart remark. the actual contact hadn't been painful, but the shock from it shook him to his core. he was so accustomed to operating around his counterpart in silence, he never anticipated giving him a scare.

❝ ENOUGH. enough yelling, i understand. you're so noisy you might bring something in here. ❞ he finally snapped, telling the other to silence his howling. picking up a few of the toys by hand, he hadn't begun to look at the mess on the table. it seemed they had damaged all of sundrop's craft materials; laid out in a horrific display. the doors to the day care were still open, but no children were currently in the building. this was a nice treat that had been left by unsupervised kids if he had to guess for himself. sunny had a bad habit of not being able to juggle tasks, which ended up with his circuits overwhelmed. here, there - he couldn't be all places at once. not with the sheer amount of children there was to supervise. if not for his own decommissioning, he could have helped out better when there was actual clientele at their hands. for now, he offered his help from the shadows. coming out whenever the other animatronic threw a fit.

HE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT IS HEALING ABOUT ARTS & CRAFTS — sundrop yammering on about something regarding FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION. staring at the kit in front of him, he's been given plenty of items to make something, but he hasn't made a move towards any of them just yet. instead, he's narrowing his red - gaze at his counterpart. if this was what he wanted him to channel his anger into, so be it. but nothing beautiful would come out of his creations. ❝ this might just be - the DUMBEST idea you've had yet. what is a handful of crayons and a paper plate going to do? ❞ grabbing one of the plates, he ripped it clean in half. now that — that arguably felt quite nice. holding both pieces in his hands, he looked between the two of them with a slight giggle. bringing them back together, he tore them apart again with another rip. showing off his four halves of a plate to SUNDROP, he can't say that he's convinced just yet that this is a healthy skill — but he's certainly gotten something out of it.

❝ it's just a dream. ❞ his baritone voice cuts the silence, hoping that he was aware enough to listen to the sound of his voice. ❝ come here, do you want to tell me what it was about? ❞ flicking on the nightlight at his bedside, a rush of illumination fills the room — no longer leaving him in darkness. the stars are bouncing off of moondrop's face as he stares down at his counterpart. he can't imagine what kind of nightmares would haunt the other so deeply. their job of watching children was a tough one, but not enough to garner nightmares of unruly children. someone so cheery would not be expected to have nightmares that kept him up all hours of the night, but moondrop seemed accustomed to this gig. he dealt with it for children all the same. asking them to tell him about the monsters under their bed. his procedure never seemed to differ, whether it was for the little ones or for sundrop.
