As a senior, I have the extreme privilege of taking a Humanities class this year. The first topic we are covering is beauty - not only the beauty we can see, but the things that make us each creative, special individuals. When I thought about who I was, and what would be the most definitive of my multifaceted personality, I knew that I needed to pick something that captured all angles of Victoria. Not only the dancer, not only the writer, not only the student. Where could all of those things come together?

Tumblr, as I'm sure you know if you are one of the 4,866 beautiful people out there reading this, is a large part of my life. I could spend hours on here getting fashion inspiration, answering your questions, and scrolling aimlessly. This blog has come seriously so far, and that, in my book, is amazing.

I randomly looked up some blog stats the other day and found out that I made my blog "2.44" years ago. I started out as a personal blog, then went colorful, boho, and finally ended up where I felt I belonged. Right at home in the Preppy tumblr community, I can be colorful, personal, fashionable, inspirational - anything I want to be. And all at the same time. Looking back on my posts, each one is something I find beautiful. I look to my own blog for inspiration all the time.

As for almost having 5000 followers, I am truly amazed. I can't believe where this blog is going. I have hopes of expanding it into a YouTube channel, am in the works with eBay, and am actually really hoping to meet at least one of you later in my life! (If we end up in college together, don't be shy!) Some of you have stuck around since day one, and others of you maybe followed me twenty minutes ago, but each one of you has given me so many opportunities and for that I have so much gratitude. Never did I think that I would communicate with people from Germany or South America. Never did I think that a deleted blog would have such an impact on me (PrepoftheSouth, I still miss you) - and never did I think that I could potentially be going to college with that same girl. Never did I think that one of my favorite bloggers would like just an hour or two away from me (Shoutout to sequinsandpeonies). And never did I think that this blog would have made it this far.

In the end, TimelessPrep is a compilation of everything that I am, everything that I feel, and every aspiration I have for the future. I couldn't do this alone - I have 4,866 incredible people to thank. Thank you for letting me open up myself to you guys. Thank you for always being there. Thank you for making this blog reach its highest potential.

Yeah I'll try that, but everyone on my block is old (I wish I was kidding) however I do live a couple houses down from a law firm and therapists so maybe their clients will need someone! :)
