The disappointing fact is that if you Google who to sacrifice to Boethiah in the most morally correct way, it will tell you to sacrifice Ralis Sedarys. My poor lad. HOWEVER as much as I want to dick ride this guy until I die, he only seems to care about his reputation rather than the lives he took. Did he kill everyone for Ahzidal on purpose? I don't think so. Does he care all that much about slaughtering innocents? Not really. I'd have to argue that Ralis isn't a monster, he's just selfish.
ANYWAY this brings me to my next point. I think it would have been cool to have some followers know what the statue of Boethiah is. Back to my point, Ralis. The dark elves believe in the three, Azura, Mephala and Boethiah. It would make sense if followers like Teldryn and Ralis recognized the statue and knew what you were doing, making it so you could only sacrifice followers that didn't know what the daedra was. Also, I'm certain you can just sacrifice the follower you take when you first go, so after the worshippers explain what to do, you could just turn to your follower and tell them to do exactly that. π

I feel like he can't really be possessed at that point. You've defeated Ahzidal. He's either taking a liking to it or to be honest reading through his journals tells you he's obviously sleep deprived, bare in mind this excavation goes on for weeks, he's probably just lost the plot, not being able to distinguish between his own thoughts and ahzidal's. It probably would take some time for the effects to wear off. It would certainly help if they actually gave him dialogue as a follower lmfao.
Anyway Ralis is a walking red flag but red is my favorite colour oops.
Also I forgot to mention: I also wanted to use the bend will shout on him and he just spent the whole time screaming "I don't want to die!" Kinda broke my heart ;-;
Something that bothers me in fanfics about Revyn Sadri (I'm talking about the horrible ones iykyk) is how scrawny they describe him. Without taking a dive into headcannons and actually going off of what we're given about him, he's probably one of the most well-off dunmers in the grey quarter. I mean, he rewards you 800 gold, if I remember correctly, for returning a stolen ring. His shop isn't the best quality in all of Skyrim, but for the grey quarter, he's running that place damn well all on his own. Not to mention the idea of him being scrawny. Of course, like most dark elves, he has a slender build, but he's not that scrawny, he's built pretty well for a dunmer. Anyway I wanna write some fanfictions and I ain't describing my boy like some malnourished Victorian child. He's a good lad.
(It's worth mentioning I'm not criticizing anyone's work, I love the fics I've read of him, just someone please give this guy more credit π)
