Congrats to NY State for being amazing and doubling the amount of gay people in this country who can legally get married!! I believe this is the first time that a law establishing marriage equality has been passed by a Republican controlled legislature. Such an emotional scene in the senate, I just keep thinking of my close friends and every person in NYC (especially the west village) who are freaking out right now. Straight and gay alike, lets stand together for equality.

I would be proud to see my good, gay friends get married after all who are we to define love? Now, to President Barack Obama, who I voted for, do me a favor, do America a favor.
