Arriving. || Melissa and Daehyun
    Seongnam, South Korea was exactly as advertised. Melissa journeyed onward even more enchant by the namesake school. She was from a small farm town, so she had been accustomed to very old brick buildings and all the greenery, but she had never seen anything so manicured. Melissa would have accepted this as a dream but the weight on her lodge and the hum of the ringtone reserved for her parents reassured her it was not a fantasy.
     "Yes, mom, I haven't arrived to my dorms, but the campus is breath taking," Melissa spoke into her mobile she had positioned against her ear and shoulder as she tided back her soft pink strands in a low pony. Her eyes examined the campus as her mother listed off safety precautions ad phone numbers of deans and counselors. Melissa sighed as she looked for the tallest building. Every building there as so big. She recalled back to when she and her sister, Isabella, would marvel at the practical skyscrapers. They were no more than five or seven stories, but to two small time Nebraska little girls, they were the closest place to heaven. Melissa had her in awe moment when she arrived to Seoul as well. She laughed at the idea that is all would one day grow normal to her. It was still weird to consider herself and college girl. "I love you too, mom. Tell Isa and Dad the same," she told her mother and she got off the cellphone.
     Today was the first real day of Melissa's dream. She had made it, more like returned, to her birth land. She was excited. Melissa was scared and a million other emotions, but the overwhelming since of here, in the moment, kept her smiling as she ran into the stranger and fell back with all her belongings.
