Jiwon bit her lip as her professor Hyuna stared her down, her perfectly groomed eyebrow raised with a question mark tainting her eyes. She couldn’t really help it, she was close with the faculty and seeing her depressed and down on the slumps made Jiwon feel bad. Himchan wondered the night market by himself. Normally he didn't like going out by himself, but since he couldn't find anyone to accompany him he had to go alone. It was weird going out alone since he always dragged his best friend everywhere with him. The market was pretty empty since it wasn't even 7pm yet. Usually after eight it was packed so he decided to go a little early to avoid the tons of people. After a couple minutes of wondering around Himchan finally found what he was looking for. Strawberry nice cake, candy, chips, sweet bread, and anything else you can imagine. Junk food was the only reason he went.
After buying enough strawberry nice cake to last him for a week or two he wondered around in search for other sweets to buy. As he looked around to see what else he could buy he noticed a little girl walking by herself. Himchan followed her from a safe distance. She was definitely way too little to be by herself. He wondered if she was lost? Or something? But she didn't seem like she was crying. He followed her for awhile hoping her parent would come find her. He wanted to approach her, but he didn't want to freak her out. He wasn't sure what to do so he followed her around for while.
Out of nowhere the little girl turned around. Himchan's eyes winded as he was faced with the girl he had been following. "Hello!" He said smiling and waving at her. It didn't surprise him when the girl didn't respond. After all he was a stranger. "Are you lost?" He said getting down on one knee to be at eye level with the girl. She seemed a little scared of him so he didn't know what to do. "Do you want some rice cake?" He said handing her a piece. Himchan looked around looking for the girl's mother or father.
"What's your name?" He asked smiling. "Sul Ri?" He asked. He could barely hear the girl since she was speaking so softly. Himchan stood back up taking the little girl's hand in his. "Let's go buy more rice cakes?" As walked holding the Sul Ri's hand he hoped the would run into her parents.
