“I-I’m really sorry.”

You stuttered sheepishly before handing over her cup

“That’s ok! It wasn’t your fault.”

Her sweet smile hadn’t left her lips for a second since she had tapped your shoulder

And you found it hard to not stare at her

But you also knew that you probably seemed like a creep

So you bowed lightly after Seojeong had given you your cup and forced yourself to leave the coffee shop

But to your surprise, Seojeong followed you and stayed by your side

“I love spring.”

She said nonchalantly as if you had been friends for many years while facing the sun

“What’s your favorite season?”

She eventually piped up after you had been quiet for a while and looked at you curiously

“Um...spring?”

You couldn’t even remember what your favorite season had been before today, but after meeting Seojeong, you never wanted it to be another season

“Good choice!”

She flashed you a wide smile and if you hadn’t known before, you were now 100% sure that you had fallen for her

You even walked past the library where you were supposed to meet your friend, just so you could keep talking with her

The only thing that you didn’t know was that she was doing the same thing

The two of you had long passed the Fantagio building already

So you kept strolling through the streets without a destination in your minds, both thinking that you were following the other

Eventually your friend called though, angrily asking where you were

So you reluctantly told Seojeong that you needed to go

But before you could rush off, she quickly took your phone and started typing something

“I go to that coffee shop quite often. So if you should ever happen to pass by again, you could text me?”

She asked shyly, conjuring a wide smile to your face

“I will!”

You answered without hesitation and the two of you kept looking at each other sheepishly until your friend called you again

Your encounter was the only thing you could think about from the moment you walked away

So, you didn’t wait long to text her and you met up only a few days later

Once again, the two of you decided to take a walk together

Which slowly became a daily routine after you had found out that she was working at Fantagio just a few buildings down the road

You started to pick her up every day when she took her lunch break

And the two of you just talked while mindlessly walking the same streets

It was clear that both of you were helplessly in love, but neither of you were brave enough to talk about your feelings

Until Seojeong’s members were fed up eventually and ambushed the two of you

“Y/N, are you in love with Seojeong?”

They asked bluntly and you nervously looked at Seojeong

“Yes?”

Your answer was barely above a whisper, but it was enough to make her grin from ear to ear

“Ok could you date then already? Because Seojeong won’t shut up about you either.”

Both of you giggled sheepishly before Seojeong flew into your arms

Since that day the two of you are inseparable

You aren’t a couple that strives to do special things all the time

Although Seojeong does enjoy taking you on cute little dates every now and then

Once she took you to a couple’s pottery course

And you made matching mugs that you still use till this day every time you are together

Or another time, you went to the zoo together and Seojeong tried communicating with the animals, not caring about the people who were staring at her

She always knows how to make a situation fun

You could be stuck in traffic and you would have the time of your life with her

Usually you just like to relax at one of your apartments, especially when Seojeong has a busy schedule

Often you cuddle up on the couch and Seojeong learns some Chinese or a new choreo while you study

But even when her schedule forbids her to see you, she will try to stay close to you in some way

So, she leaves you little notes or snacks before she rushes off to work

Plus, she sends you the most random messages throughout the day

She sent you a picture? Could be a cute selca, could be a picture of a baby goat wearing a sweater or a picture of a stain on Sookyung’s shirt that she thinks looks like the president

You never know with her

When she has a few days off in a row, she likes to take you with her to her family

Together you help out in the garden or in the kitchen

And you realize every time anew that Seojeong is perfect wife material

You are always absolutely mesmerized by how good Seojeong is at everything

But she is always completely oblivious to that

She just loves to spend time with you and her family

Especially because it can be quite chaotic in the dorm

There isn’t a lot of privacy and space

So your date nights often get crashed by other members

The only reason why you love to visit Seojeong in the dorm is because her guitar is there

You ask her to serenade you every time

Because who could ever have enough of her dreamy voice?

And she seldomly refuses your wish

She whips out her guitar and sings you sweet songs

Although sometimes she also starts rapping out of the blue which always amazes you

Your sweet girlfriend suddenly turns into a gangster rapper

You always hype her up and sometimes you end up having a rap battle

Overall, your time together is always filled with a lot of laughter and you barely fight

Sometimes, Seojeong pretends to be mad at you when you don’t do what she says

But she always cracks up sooner or later, especially when you act cute

It is simply not in her nature to be angry

So, you can never be mad at her either

Not that there would ever be a reason to because she’s a literal angel

Especially because she has a habit of giving you little pecks when she realizes that you are upset

Of course, only when no one else is looking though

Because although the two of you are dating for a while already, Seojeong is still super shy when it comes to skinship

In the very beginning of your relationship, you had basically only talked, and every bit of progress had taken a while

For months, all you did was to hold hands and to hug goodbye

It wasn’t until your (seemingly) 100th date that Seojeong let you kiss her

From that moment on, she got less and less embarrassed to show that the two of you were dating

But she still doesn’t let you kiss her in public until this day except when she is overflowing with joy and forgets her surroundings

You don’t really mind though

Because she is all the more affectionate at home

It always seems like she wants to make up for all the time that you are separated in public

Because there is rarely a time that your bodies aren’t connected in some way when you are protected from the public eye

It is one of the many reasons that you love to come home to your beautiful girlfriend

Everything about your relationship is simply perfect to you
