RIP to my one and only cup that I have been using since 2006. Thank you for serving me all these years. This is no any ordinary cup given to me as a gift. This cup reminded me that I survived my scoliosis surgery back then and these 2 friends came by to visit me back in the ICU. I remember the first thing I open my eyes back then still feeling dazed from the GA and one of them said "I know you been wanting this Tinkerbell cup and we shared money to get you one". While another one said "it's the cheerleading version to remind you that we are here to cheer you up and get well soon". Back then this cup merely cost $16.90 from the now closed down More Than Words. Now... its priceless. To my two friends, you know who you are. So today, I am fixing my room including my old stuffs and saw these letters. They are letters from 2004-2008, realized that they are more than 10 years now (some are getting there. 😂) Ohhh what a keeper! My mom always tell me that they are trash but I bought a bin instead and kept them anyway. I was about to throw them out today and decided to just keep the memories in my heart but as I browsed through each of these letters again, I felt like I'm not yet ready to let them go. 😅 Maybe some other time. 😅😅😅 P.S. chilli, my favorite little cat just died. well I don't know when she died, but our housekeeper just called in and told my mum. I’m honestly so sad, because I haven't been at our house in Ireland (that’s where my cats are) in what feels like an eternity and the last time I saw chilli, she looked perfectly fine!! when I’m back, I'll plant some cute flowers on her grave and I don't know, carve a little poem into the tree next to it or something like that. it just makes me so sad that life can honestly end so extremely fast and there’s nothing you can do about it. all I hope is that she did not suffer. xoxo
