He... doesn’t, for the most part. He’s generally neutral about everything, which does mean he’s hard to read, a real lack of expression all around. It seems more likely someone would assume he doesn’t like something when he really doesn’t mind either way -- or the opposite. If he really can’t ignore something that’s bothering him, he’ll just leave. Something about being civil with people to avoid unnecessary conflict. Or being mysterious mostly saving time/energy/public image by going along with things as much as he can; if people ask (or otherwise provoke) him to share his honest opinion he can suddenly shift into saying all kinds of nasty things. And of course, sometimes he kills people without showing a hint of warning beforehand. You’d think he doesn’t like them, in that case.
Though, if he intends to actually fight (or show a capacity to do so, that scares some people off) in any way, he will be more openly unpleasant -- whether that’s making some snide remark or a direct, unambiguous threat, or just quietly refusing to cooperate. Which is... maybe a surprise to people who weren’t trying to offend him, or who thought he’d let them get away with anything.
