14. How Do I Come Up with Chapter Titles?

Actually, I do one of two things depending on the type of fic and how intense the fic is.
If it's a more crack fic - like The General's Lady or The Name Jinn - I basically use very simple titles like "Wedding" or "Spy" or something like that
If it's something from, say, the "Secrets of the Negotiatior" universe it's typically alot harder. Like alot.
I tend to try to find a general theme or two that I worked with in that particular chapter. For example, the lastest chapter of "The Unlawful Siege" (A sequel in the "Secrets" universe) I used the title "Disgrace and Disbelief." The only things I'm giving away about the plot of that chapter is: Pre Vizsla calls Satine a disgraceful Mandalorian, and Mace finds himself in disbelief over opinions about Anakin.
