Senate Debate On Carbon Tax

After the house of representatives pass the carbon tax bill yesterday now the bill move to the senate floor. The senate worked through the night to find the agreement on Carbon Tax. The Capitol is seen at dusk as work in the Senate is stalled on the Democrat’s carbon tax. Republican was trying to block Dem’s carbon tax bill to the final vote because the Republican arguing that the bill is hurting the economy for making fossil fuels more expensive, it imposes a harsher burden on those with low incomes. 

"I rise today to begin to filibuster this carbon tax bill” Senate Minority Leader Carl Mcdavid. Senator Carl Mcdavid reported decline the democrate offer to combine his public works bill with President Clark Clean America bill. Even if the carbon tax pass and will help to fund both democrate and republican program, Carl Mcdavid seen this unfair for the low income people in America as the electricity,fuel and many product price will increase.

McDavid : Thank you for coming jonathan, sorry to make you wait

Jonathan : You’re 5 minutes late senator,i don’t have much time so just tell ne what are we going to discuss

McDavid : Today the house of chamber will pass the carbon tax, And in the next few days it will be on the senate floor. You know that i’m not agree with that so i will use filibuster. But because the democrate has the vote sooner or later it will pass through the senate and become a law. So i need your help right know

Jonathan : But- why should i help you?

Jonathan : Just so you know, i met with Vice President Asher 2 months ago, and he promised to increase the severance pay in the Clean America bill

McDavid : Well he gave me some offers too, he offer me to combine the republican public works bill with his clean america bill, but i’m decided to not accept that

McDavid : It’s better to pass this public works bill without clean america, your labor union will get the back with the public works. The carbon tax and Clean America is a job killer, we should fight to prevent it to happen

Jonathan : Hmm..., what kind of help do you need from me?

McDavid : We need thousend of workers on the street to start the protest, we already have hundread of activist in Nebraska ready to attack the gas price increase, So if we have the workers on the street too, we will become stronger

Jonathan : Okay but promise me to pass the public works okay?

McDavid : Don’t worry we working on it

Ackerman : So, do we have to accept Clark offer?

McDavid : We don’t have any choice, they will pass the carbon tax from the industry support, our best option is to take advantage on it by including our public works bill into Clean America

Ackerman : Why did the energy industry support the bill? i thought the bill will ruin their business

McDavid : They’r losing billion of dollars in the past year, the best sollution for them is new investment in renewable energy

Ackerman : How about the people? low income and farmers will be affected, they will angry because the fuel gas prices increase, we should back them. We don’t have to include this into Clean America
